Liz Lynne MEP and Margaret Rowley take the Campaign to Evesham

Margaret Rowley and Liz Lynne MEP listen to the views of an Evesham resident.

Liz Lynne MEP found time to give support to Margaret's campaign to become Mid-Worcestershire's next MP on Monday 12th April. She stopped off in Evesham Market Place to join Margaret and her team before flying to Brussels.

Liz Lynne said: "I was pleased to be able to support Margaret Rowley's campaign. She is an excellent candidate who puts the interests and concerns of Worcestershire people first - we need more capable and experienced women like Margaret in politics and she would make a superb MP.

"I was delighted by the positive response from Evesham residents and shoppers on Monday - I live not far away and it is clear many people in this part of Worcestershire are ready for a real change - politics needs a big shake-up. Just putting the Conservatives back into power will make no difference."

"It is also striking how many former Labour voters are supporting Margaret this time. Rural Worcestershire is a two horse race between the Conservatives and LibDems."

Margaret added " I'm grateful to Liz for finding time in her busy schedule to help get our message across to to the people of Evesham. Many people had not yet decided which way to vote on May 6th and were interested to hear what the Liberal Democrats are saying."
